Your First Visit to Our Winnipeg Practice

You will be warmly welcomed and made to feel at home. Help is on its way!

New patients often remark how comfortable our office is. That’s good, because our goal is to offer chiropractic care in a comfortable surrounding. So make yourself at home and welcome to our chiropractic family!

You’ll find plenty of convenient parking behind the clinic and down the side street on Collegiate. Upon arriving to our office, you’ll be greeted warmly by our friendly assistants, Barb or Lorraine, who will help you get acquainted with our centre.

If you’ve already completed your paperwork, great! If not, after doing so you’ll shortly meet the doctor.

Patients appreciate that Dr. Leader explains everything in advance!

The purpose of your initial visit with the doctor is to discuss your health goals and see how chiropractic can help you. A thorough examination will follow and can help identify the cause of your problem. After Dr. Leader studies your health history and correlates his examination findings, he’ll make recommendations designed to help you get and keep your health. From there, if appropriate, your care will begin immediately.

When you have completely discussed all of your findings with the doctor and have agreed upon the necessary treatment to accomplish your health goals, he will proceed with an adjustment.

Before leaving, our office assistants will help you set up your next appointment and make any financial arrangements necessary.

Allow approximately an hour for your first visit.

Dr. Leader Asks some important questions of interest to Winnipeg residents - Chiropractor Winnipeg Dr. Leader Asks...

What can a chiropractor do for asthma?
Many people think of chiropractic as exclusively dealing with the spine. But I'm interested in the spine because it covers the nervous system. Problems in the spine can produce problems in the organs and tissues controlled by the affected nerves—including those to the lungs and bronchial tubes. Find out how chiropractic care has helped those with asthma.
Are chiropractors just concerned with the spine?
Our interest in the spine is because it covers the major communications conduit between your brain and your body. As a Winnipeg chiropractor my job is to locate areas (usually along the spine) that interfere with proper nerve communications to and from your brain. Chiropractic adjustments help restore nervous system integrity. In this way, chiropractic care can affect the function of your entire body.
