Our Financial Policy

If you lose something, it costs time or money or both to recover it. That’s true whether you lose your keys, your wallet or your health.

How much you’re willing to invest to recover your health is largely a function of how much you value your health. Everyone values his or her health differently.

So that we can concentrate more fully on helping you reclaim your health, we make our financial policy simple, easy to understand and fair for all parties involved. That’s why we post our policy here.

Manitoba Health Services Commission or MHSC, partially covers chiropractic care for a maximum of twelve visits per individual per calendar year. Autopac and WCB fully cover chiropractic care.

With MHSC's partial coverage, the remaining charge that is the patient's responsibility for an initial visit is $35. For all other/subsequent visits, the remaining charge is $22 per visit, which the patient is responsible for. This fee will be charged on a per visit basis and are payable when service is rendered.

Your financial responsibility can vary depending upon whether your health problem was the result of a collision, is preventive in nature or covered by an insurer.

Our office will bill directly to the following insurance providers:

  • Manitoba Public Insurance

  • Workers Compensation Board

  • Blue Cross

  • Manitoba Health

Dr. Leader Asks some important questions of interest to Winnipeg residents - Chiropractor Winnipeg Dr. Leader Asks...

How do you know when you're healthy?
Ask most Winnipeg residents this simple question and you're likely to hear, "When you feel good" or "When you're at your proper weight for your height" or "When you have lots of energy and vitality." Great answers. But our chiropractic patients know that true health is when your body is working as it was designed. True health is how you function, not how you feel.
What's the difference between a "good" drug and a "bad" drug?
As a chiropractor, I see the use of many drugs (legal or illegal) as merely symptom treating. Worse, virtually every drug produces unwanted effects. The effects of chiropractic are largely positive effects. If you're a Winnipeg parent, consider carefully before giving your child a cough medication, cold remedy or pain reliever so this sort of question doesn't arise in the first place.
